The Junior Hip Hop team is one of only 6 teams in the country selected to represent the United States in the Junior International Dance division at the 2012 Dance Worlds! The team will compete against many other countries and many styles of dance. We are so proud of our Juniors! And so honored that Pittsburgh Poison will represent the US at Worlds!

We are so excited to announce that Leah Maurizio, captain of the Black Widows, has been selected to be one of 10 featured dancers from across the country to be followed in an on-line series : "DanCelebrities- the Road to Worlds." Matthew and Tracy are so excited to work with the world renowned Lady Birds this August! The Lady Birds have won many National titles and are one of the most prestigious college dance teams in the country!

Tracy is honored to be speaking at the Midwest Regional meetings for coaches and gym owners. She will be joining many industry leaders including Amy Goldberg of Star Performance Center, Tegan Reeves of USASF dance, Kiersten Payne of DCA, Orson Sykes of Twist and Shout, Kyle Grussmeyer of Allstar Legacy, Courtney Smith Pope of Cheer Extreme and Brad Habermel of Cheer Athletics.

Point State Park was paked with hundreds of thousands of spectators for the 4th of July weekend. The Spiders put on 14 AMAZING shows! We are so proud of our dancers!!!!

2011 BLACK WIDOWS 2ND IN THE WORLD!!!!!!
Pittsburgh Poison is the ONE AND ONLY gym in the state of PA to ever medal at Worlds! The Black Widows fought their way to the top from a 6th place finish in prelims. They gave the performance of a lifetime and are now the 2011 World Silver Champions!!! Pittsburgh Poison remains the only senior hip hop team to make finals every year since the dance worlds began in 2007. We are so very proud of our Widows!
